I’ve never owned a K.L. Null holster before and I came home from the Tulsa show with a pair of them. This is the more interesting one, it’s not on Null’s website and I haven’t found reference to it elsewhere yet. It has what amounts to a snap-off belt feature that incorporates the safety strap. It fits a Government Model as shown.

The other one is Null’s faithful copy of Paris Theodore’s Seventrees UNS IWB holster, also named the UNS model. A .45 auto is very tight in it.

I hope this doesn’t mean I’m collecting Null holsters now.

Those are some dandies John!

I especially like the UNS model. I suspect that the large skirt helps disguise the outline and steady the grip frame?

It was good to see you at Tulsa, I hope that we can chat again in Richardson.

There are worse things you could collect than Ken Null holsters
John. Looks like you have a good start.

The UNS looks (to me) like it's molded for a Browning Hi-Power... which explains why a 1911 is a tight fit. :D
Great finds!
You’re right, I looked more closely and the molding does match a Hi-Power.
I’ve never owned one, I’ll reluctantly admit that the seller
told me it was for a Hi-Power and I cheerfully ignored that. Good eye, thanks for pointing that out.

I will not be buying a Hi-Power to fit the holster...
and I’ll quit trying to jam a .45 in it.

John,
Very nice!

I have several pieces of Ken's work; an Ankle Holster and a VAM. You could do a lot worse than collecting his wares!

It's no surprise that Lou Alessi continued to produce his versions of the UNS. I've also got a more recent take-off by Milt Sparks (Executive Companion), but don't have a photo. Some designs stand the test of time!

I don't think Alessi still makes the UNS. I could be wrong but I didn't see it on his website recently. I had one years ago for my S&W Model 19 2.5 inch and really like it. I was looking for one now for my 239.
