I hope that it will eventually happen because I've wanted a threaded barrel for my SW40VE for years, and thus I would be among the first in line to order one!

So I just got a response from Apex regarding the possibility of a threaded barrel for the sd40ve specifically, they said they're "looking to continue expanding their barrel lines but cannot provide a timeline." Pretty vague but hopefully that means something is in the works.
To anyone who'd be interested in buying one, write apex an email! Let them know that there's interest in this particular product, it might help speed things up if they know there's a lot of demand!

WELCOME TO THE FORUM @Longranger1

What do you plan to do with the threaded barrel?
Get a 40 suppressor or compensator or just to look Cool?
I have seen the video before 3-4 months ago when I picked up a SD9
Still on the fence on Apex but will review one of their triggers & spring kits for the SD very soon...

Just to note: The guy in the video has more money in the optic & light than a SD Costs = $285-$350

Yes! Been looking into getting a Hybrid 46 can and using it for 40, I know there aren't a lot of guys that suppress 40s but my regular 180gr gold dots I shoot are easily subsonic, and I've heard good things about the sd9ve suppressed. Already have an apex trigger and trigger return spring. Made a world of difference without messing with the striker spring, it feels as good as any glock now. But $150 cheaper, more comfortable in the hand, and better looking lol.
Yeah I'm not a big fan of what he's done with the sd9, but he seems like one of the few guys who's actually interested in upgrading the SD series
