Was at the Sportsmans Warehouse in Roanoke Va.a couple of days ago. The most ammo i have seen on the shelves in several years. All calibers and a variety of brands. Prices weren't pre covid but reasonable. Also got an email from them about ammo today. Maybe the supply crisis is over?

I was in a local chain store last night and was shocked/surprised to see not only tons of ammo but they also had both 28 Nosler and 338wm which has not been see in over 4 years.

Also much cheaper than the $90 to $120 it has been selling for.

While ammo has come down and cheaper than it was a year or two ago, there is still a lot of room for it to come down. As people stop hoarding and the distributors start choking on it, it should come close to normal. I'd love to see $110 a case for 9mm delivered again, at his point I'd settle for $150 delivered.

I have never ever seen what the case price is from Federal for example, on pallets leaving the factory. That's the only way we will have an idea on what pricing "could be".

I was at GT Distributor's today, and they were overflowing with ammo, but I have no clue what the prices are. Same with our local Sportsman's Warehouse. Tons of it there, too.

Our local Warehouse and Cabelas both have a pretty good stock of Ammo.
Not necessarily that cheap.
I think the last I bought was a 9mm 200 round box of Cabelas house brand.
Winchester I think.

Was in a local gun shop and range today picking up a transfer (PSA 5.7 Rock). They advertise as Texas largest indoor gun range. There was more ammo than I've ever seen there before. Their prices, though, are not cheap.

They've also raised the price of a transfer from $20 the last time I did one to $35 now. I guess everything else has gone up thanks to high inflation these days, though.
