When I first glanced at the topic I saw “Nuts”. I thought “So what else is new?” Then I figured things out.

As long as this doesn’t involve Sally Field, or - even worse - those “Singing Nuns” - I’m game. Bring it on! :D

I saw that on Fox. Nuns shouldn't go sticking their noses where they aren't wanted, and brother, S&W doesn't want them. I'd like to see the mission statements of a convent and the job description of nuns.;)

Nuns are responsible for more ruined lives than firearms ever could be, says a survivor of catholic school!!:p

That's probably true. Fortunately, exposure to other religions later in life cleansed me of the issues that I had to endure earlier in life.

12 years of parochial education taught me not to take a nun or Jesuit lightly.. they have time on their side.. like prisoners do...

As a practicing Catholic I feel obligated to speak up here. These nuns no more represent the Catholic Church as a whole than they would be representing the United States of America as a whole. Unfortunately there’s a number of people within the Church who’s voices sound publicly but who are not speaking within their real capacity as nun/priest/bishop etc… . Same can be said of politicians who either do or don’t speak in capacity of representing the nation.

There have been bad apples ever since birth of Christianity (Judas Iscariot). There will continue to be bad apples as long as we have people in the Church. It is what it is. The members are not perfect, some less than others. It’s unfortunate when they cause further confusion in muddying the waters.

I don’t expect a nun to weigh in on firearms usage and policy any more than she would weigh in on building/construction codes and standards.

Then they should be subject to taxation.

:mad:No doubt in my mind this is funded by Bloomberg abd/or George Soros. Nuns typically have a lot of money nor do they buy shares in a gun company. The "nun" angle is another PR stunt of the left.
