LaRue MBT2s. I've done volume buys with friends to knock the price down. Bang for the buck, I don't think there is a better deal for a fantastic drip-in AR-15 trigger. Even buying just a single one is probably going to be around $90 shipped or under.
However I better add that I haven't looked since the market went looney tunes.

Pre-stupid market I put a Rise Armament LE145 in my AR pistol. Picked it up for about $100 off gunbroker and I really like it.

Another vote for the LaRue . For $87 + shipping, it gives you the option of a curved or straight trigger bow. It is a 2 stage trigger, but you're looking at roughly 4.5lbs total trigger pull.
I have multiple brands, types with costs ranging from acceptable to stupid high but perhaps worth it. What type, style, costs are you interested in?

One more vote for the LaRue MBT2. Half the cost of the big name brands and just as good. 
I have several ALG ACT (Advanced Combat Trigger). The trigger pull is listed as 5.5 lb. I like this FCG as these are self defense / multiuse AR's. $70.00 at my LGS.
I also have a couple of Hiperfire Enhanced Duty Sharp Shooter FCG's ($99.00 at my LGS) which I have no experience with yet. It comes with 4.5 and 5.5 lb. trigger springs. I put the 5.5 lb. spring in a in-progress build and am going to put the 4.5 lb. in a future build that I plan to use for hunting and on the range.
Don't buy a ALG QMS FCG. The trigger pull is horrible. A friend cleaned up the trigger and hammer and gave it a decent trigger pull. If it doesn't hold up I am just going to trash it. The ALG ACT is well worth the $20.00 extra dollars.

Buy once, cry once. That being said, you can get a fine trigger for $100 or less and they will have the items you high lighted in red.

LaRue tactical makes all kinds of gun goodies, obviously most of them are all AR parts. But unless they have introduced something recently, they really only offer one single trigger and they have sold a zillion of them.
And the more of them they sell, the more they lower the price on them.

First question: what do you expect to do with your rifle? If self defense just might be a possibility, keeping your trigger in the 5+ lb range will keep you within factory specs. Smooth is much more important than weight. You'd also not want adjustment screws that might drift loose and keep your bang switch from working.
Your stock trigger is a single stage. When you apply pressure, your're immediately starting to release the sear and fire the rifle.
Many military rifles have two stage triggers. You have an initial light trigger stage-may also be somewhat long-that takes up slack in the trigger mechanism. Then you hit the second/heavier stage that will release the sear and fire the rifle.

AIM surplus can't be beat for anything AR.....except I also have Larue on 2 builds....They have more than several lowers set up in their showroom to try and by far the Elftmann feel best to me but they are WAY too pricey .I have an early HM Defense with a mil-spec trigger that is incredible
The Geissele site used to have a good breakdown of single stage vs. 2 stage and the advantages of each. Not saying you should buy a Geissele, just a source of info. I've never shot with anything but a milspec (read: Yep, it fits.) trigger, so I can't speak to which one is better. Good Luck!

I voted with my wallet for a Rise Armament RA-140 cassette style drop in trigger for my AR.
Comes with anti-walk pins included. Although I've never put it on a trigger pull gauge, it claims a 3.5lb pull - very smooth with an extremely short reset. If you look around and have patience, you can get one for $100 or less on sale.
