What do you know about Anatolian Shepherd dogs?

The breed has Mastiff high lights and therefore you can expect all of those attributes. They can be aggressive towards other breeds and are very protective of their flock, which means you and yours. They have a Middle Eastern background which lends itself to warmer climates, their coat is not as heavy as Northern dogs.
All dogs are conditioned by their owners, the most aggressive breeds raised by intelligent owners can be sweet loving animals. I have been around the breeds considered dangerous by others raised by good people that were big old sweet hearts that drool on your feet, my son's pitbull scares alot of people but would go home with me in a second because I have never roughed her up like he does, all I do is love her.

My little girl needed very little training as far as people are involved. After the initial meeting she is fine! She’s fine with small dogs, but has an issue with large dogs unless I tell her NO! One thing she hates is these young punks with the Medusa hair! I can’t stop her from going after them! Oh darn!

While not longhaired like a Ovcharka, they do have a double coat. Get's cold in the Turkish highlands. Get your brush handy.

Agreed, to an extent. Early socialization is key if you want to take her in public.
