Anyone have a Taurus TX22?

You can get the +5 mag extensions for the TX22. Nice to have 21 rounds :)

Rosewood

Picked it up yesterday, 100 rounds today at the local club range. All on their steel targets, 30 yards, almost all pinged after the shot. Aguila Interceptor 40gr and Armscor 36gr HP. Flawless, except for my couple of limp wrist holds that caused failures to chamber. Three dot sights are easy to find, staying in my range bag every trip for now.

I have a TX22 compact with the Riton RDS. Other than ammo caused misfires, it's been pretty much perfect. If there is nothing in the case, it's not going to fire! If I ruled the gun world, the TX22 grip would be on all handguns, it's the best ever, IMHO. I got mine when they had the 3 mags and a range bag rebate deal.

When I first grabbed it in the store, it felt like the Ruger American I've had for years. The American always shot better than anything else in my collection, except for the trigger. The TX actually has a good trigger. No creep, solid reset, good accuracy. Strange design for a two-stage striker trigger/firing pin, but it works.

This pistol is going to cost me a lot of ammo. 49 rounds in every box. 16 in each mag + 1 up the spout for the first round. Equals 49 rounds.

It's also the first semi-auto 22 that throws the fired cases straight off my right shoulder. My Rugers (even the rifles) flip them over my hat a lot.

I had some FTfeed and a few stovepipes with my 1st TX22, sold it and bought a Competition and it is 100% better...
