Load .45acp 230 grain Factory Duplication Loads using Unique Power.
Firing pins is hardly making a small dent in the primer.
I have never used Magnum Primers but wondering if these Primers are magnum ?

Prior to reloading Cases I tumble clean and the clean the Primer Pockets.

The Pistols and Revolvers I use are all hammer fired weapons

Ammo may have high seated primers.

Assuming it's a 1911. 1) I would clean the firing pin channel and inspect the FP Spring. 2) I would remove the Hammer Spring inside the Main Spring Housing and replace it no matter what! While you are inside there, check for free movement of the strut. 3) The last (or maybe 1st) thing is, check your ammo isn't a hair too long and the bullet is engaging the lands, then when the firing pin hits the primer, everything moves forward a few thousandths.

Othe autos can have similar problems.

1917/25/625 revolvers can have hammer spring issues like backed out tension screws or gunk in the firing pin channel.

CCI 300 is their standard large pistol primer. Since you are experiencing light strikes, it could be a couple of things or even a combination. First, make sure the primers are fully seated, a high primer can get seated fully by the first strike of the firing pin, ignited when struck again. If the primers are fully seated, then check the firearm. Check for a broken firing pin, gummy lubricant in the firing pin channel, weak/reduced power hammer spring.
