I've got one for 380 that I got off E-bay. No idea the brand name but it came in a little black metal box with a couple extra batteries and another back (that has the cushion "firing primer) for about twenty bucks or so. I've got one for 380 and 9mm, and one for 45 acp around here somewhere.
The 380 works fine in my Bodyguard. I can't imagine why someone would say they don't except maybe it's a little long for the ejection port. I have to shake it a bit to get it to drop out or just let it drop out the magazine well. Going in is not a problem. Just push it in with a finger. Once it's in, there is NO chance of getting live ammo in there. A "Bic" type ink pin works as a rod to push it out of the chamber. A cleaning rod will work too, but the plastic pen might be easier on the laser bulb. The flat side, not the point of course.
NOTE! Make sure you don't get a laser boresighter. (I made that mistake once) Those send a continuous beam and are on/off. You want a training cartridge that shoots a burst of light when the hammer/striker falls. Different animals.
I use mine most every day. I'm looking for one in 30 Super Carry, but with no luck. I doubt anyone makes one.
