Hi Guys

I wonder if anyone here can help me out. Im based in the UK and i own a 15-22 performance centre.

A few months ago i decided to give a deep clean. cleaned the rifle well so decided to give the mags a clean too. first mag stripped down well and gave it a good clean. however when i went to strip the second mag, the little plastic thing at the bottom flew off into a blackhole!!! i looked everywhere for it. cannot find it at all. roped the mrs to helping me look again and we came with nothing.

Spoke to quite a few stockists in the uk and no one can help me get one. Even spoke to the sole importer for this rifle in the UK to see if they can get one and they cant.

Ive reached out to customer service and they have said that they cant ship to the uk. they could however send some out if i was in the US.

can anyone help me out to get some and then ship it to me in the uk. Obviously i will pay postage. just got a mag sat there now that i cant use and dont really want to buy another mag just for that little piece. piece in question is that little piece that you depress so you can slide the bottom off.

Really. Anyone assisting would be labeled an international arms smuggler even if it's just a plastic part to a mag and I'm not being silly or exaggerating. Is it possible to get a new mag? Or could you get someone to 3d print the part out??? I just sent a watch to England for a repair and the postal people were all up in arms about the new regulations and customs and the whole 9 yards just for a REPAIR. If it wasn't for the very real possibility of becoming a criminal, I or many people here would be more than happy to help. It's such a simple thing but the risks are enormous.

Use the existing one as a pattern, A piece of plastic, wood, metal and short screw or dowl rod and superglue. It's 15 minutes at the kitchen table. It dose not need to be perfect. No one will see it.

thanks for the advice guys. dont want to get anyone in trouble. didnt think it would be an issue, its not as if its a firing pin or a barrel. just a small piece of plastic.

i can get mags here but it would be square one again where id have another mag in bits that i cant use.

dont know anyone with a 3d printer.

like mentioned above i might have to try and make one. found it weird that the authorised importer into the uk cant get them.

thanks for taking the time to reply folks.

The company doesn’t get enough business to pay for an export license. Nothing illegal about that part being shipped; just not by the company.

A floor plate catch? That’s ridiculous. 😱
Yes it is ridiculous. But our agencies LOVE to make examples out of people for ridiculous things. They don't mind putting an ordinary Joe through the Federal Court system just to make the point that THEY have the power and say-so about what people can and can't (mostly can't) do.o_O
