Good Bad or Ugly..Mag Shack & GunMagWarehouse

I’ve bought numerous magazines from gunmagwarehouse over the last six years. Good prices, good selection, no issues with my purchases not arriving on time. Several friends also use them.

I purchased a few factory made mags from Mag Shack. They are the same as what came with the pistols and are fine. Just make SURE you buy Factory mag's and not after market - IMO.

I only buy and use factory magazines with pistols. I may pay a little more but never have any hassles. The only exception to that are 1911 mags and they are made by dozens of company's such as McCormick, Wilson Combat, Colt (although I forgot who made them for Colt) and a bunch of WWll era USGI mag's that are unmarked. They all work fine however the Colt and Wilson Combat are the smoothest to use and load.

This sounds like reasonable advice, BUT Mec-Gar makes magazines for many major manufacturers including S&W and numerous others that come with their come with their new pistols. So, when you buy Mec-Gar magazines you are getting factory magazines for them, they are just not marked as factory magazines would be.

Here is a list of manufacturers that Mec-Gar makes magazines for:

Please stop with the 87 question marks. One is sufficient.

Every time I’ve ever ordered from Mag shack I get a high quality magazine, I’ve gotten fast service. Gotten exactly what I ordered. I always order factory mags.

I’m sure they’ll sell junk mags to people who want to buy a price rather than a quality product.

I have bought from both Magshack and Gunmagwarehouse. They are both excellent to deal with, so I always check both and buy from whoever has the best price for what I want.
