The good news is that some of the high dollar drugs are coming down in price. One that I take is coming down in price by 52%. The bad news is that it will be in 2026 before I or anyone else sees any saving.

Better late than never!

FWIW Long retired and I have good health insurance and my out of pocket cost on many drugs is low or none extant. Hell they even pay for the postage!

Thats is one I take. Much cheaper for me as my Doc took me off Coumadin and the testing required to safely use that drug!
My mother-in-law took Coumadin and I would take her down to have her blood tested often. Even so her fourth stroke killed her even while on the drug. Eliquis is much better but it sure costs you. I take 8 drugs with all of them with a co-pay of Zero except Eliquis which is $47. With a deductible of $200

Like said the key is having good health insurance.

I take 12, eight of them are no payment. Two of them are only a couple bucks, two others including The big E are more expensive. (much better deal than Coumadin and I did my own at home testing at a couple months in)

All in all not realy that bad, after all I'm here to post this. All maintenance drugs come in by mail (3 months supply) in plenty of time so you never run out.

My free drugs also include Shingles shots, Pneumonia shots and some others!
