Here is another 44 Magnum from my collection that I would like to share with everyone this month. This Model 29-2 was shipped on March 4, 1969 and delivered to Mallco Distributors Inc., in Phoenix , AZ. That is a particularly late shipping date for a S249xxx serial number. This 29-2 was engraved by Russ Smith and is documented in the wonderful Smith & Wesson Engraving book my Michael J. Kenelly on page 237. I particularly like the flat polished areas in this unique style. Mallco appears to have ordered some interesting 44 Magnums because I have a 5-inch gun with an unusual front sight that I hope to share with you later in the year. I also have installed Birds Eye Maple Coke-style stocks from John and Jennifer Culina (https://www.culinagrips.com/) which are beautiful and feel wonderful. This is another item in my collection that a generous S&WCA member allowed me to take over stewardship of this beautiful revolver.

Beautiful Kevin!!! I love the long tube engraved S&Ws and that one brings new meaning to the phrase "full coverage". I don't believe I have seen many 8 3/8" guns where the barrel is that fully covered. I really like it!!! If you would be so kind as to share a few more photos (particularly of the trigger guard, the yoke face, the under side of the barrel, and the knuckle) that would be much appreciated.:)

Thanks for sharing.
