Winchester service grade 9mm

It's been awhile since I had any of the 9mm or .45 but it's as accurate and clean firing as any other generic ammo from a big manufacturer. In other words...not match ammo but accurate enough. If you do your job it will do its job on the target.

I actually shot a box I had through my WW2 Colt 1911 just a few weeks ago. It was accurate and reliable. Someone had given it to me and felt it fitting to shoot it through the 82 year old 1911. I usually use my reloaded ammo but figured what the heck! From what I have seen, Winchester ammo has gotten pretty pricy lately!

Service Grade on the box says all you need to know. It doesn't say "Match Grade" so its basically range ammo. It should work for most range duty these days and Winchester is a well known entity.

Way too many people comment without knowing what they are talking about.

At the same time way too many people ask questions without giving enough information.

Is this the load your asking about??

If so this load was adopted by the US military when the Sig M17 was adopted. Super high velocity, loaded to max NATO spec. From the tests I've seen it DOES reach 1300 fps+ out of 5 inch barrels.

Generally regarded as hot, clean burning and more accurate then most generic ball

Yes, that's what I was asking about as stated in the thread title. Thank you for the information.
