Hallo Leute,
Ich habe eine neue Target Champion zugelegt. Ich bin aber sehr enttäuscht. So ein Schrott habe ich noch nie gesehen.Ich glaube das jeder der Drehen und Fräsen kann, könnte sowas besser. Daher möchte ich auch Fragen ,ob sowas normal ist. Hat jemand Erfahrung damit ?1000037802.jpg1000037799.jpg

I would have to ask OP what he thinks a ratchet should look like! That looks pretty normal for S&Ws built in the past 30-40 years! As long as it works properly there is nothing that is wrong. Can you imagine the time it would take to de-burr a ratchet just to make it pretty!!

I must disagree. That is a really crappy machining job...maybe they were running dull cutters. Those burrs and sloppy cuts are unacceptable and I'm surprised they passed QC. Apparently the Target Champions are just standard Model 686s that were manufactured for the European market. I've read in some previous Posts that these TCs are "rebuilt" in Germany after being imported from S&W, but that may just be a story. If I purchased a brand new 686 with an extractor like that I would be contacting S&W Customer Service. The TCs, like standard 686s, are not cheap revolvers and I can see why Artur is not happy.

Hallo Alk,
Wen ich eine neue Wafe kaufe und 1600€ bezahle dann erwarte auch nicht so was nun und das von S&W .Ich dachte S&W ist Qualität deswegen habe sie ausgewählt eine neue Schöne Revolver. Schön ist sie Definitiv nicht.

The finish on the trigger and hammer are supposed to look like that, sort of a modern color case hardened finish.
My 2014 -6 TC looks the same.

Ich habe mir die Ratsche an meiner neuen Mountain Gun angesehen, aber ich habe keine Ausrüstung, um sie mit der Vergrößerung und Auflösung deines Fotos zu betrachten, daher kann ich keine Einschätzung geben. Ich hoffe, dass S&W sich um dich kümmert
