I won a nice 28-2 today for under $700 with shipping & tax. While it's not pristine, I think it's in pretty good condition since I plan on shooting the crap out of it. I do like the grips but didn't know what grips came on it. Service grips are not that hard to find. There weren't any pictures of the yoke or serial number so I will have to do research when I have it in hand. Yay me!!

Stocks are interesting, maybe slimmed down S&W's? No lazy &'s so likely N prefix. I found one from the early 1960's that is dusty but doesn't look bad and notice the stocks. I put a low bid in and got it for cheap. It is on it's way, you just never know.

Can never have too many 28s around - I was just looking in the local classifieds at a 4" -2 model, but its a little high for my cheap budget right now. Enjoy your 'new' revolver in good health!
