I have the above revolver in mint condition. I thought Model 18 were only made in .22LR. Is it a mismatch model 19 ?

18's were .22LR and also 4". 17's were 6"
Are you saying it's a .357 Mag? Shrouded ejector rod?
I've seen a bunch of Model 19's, especially -3's, that the 9 looks like an 8.

I'd say it was mis-marked - it happens. Never heard of any M18 that was in a caliber other than 22 rf. Might actually be worth a few bucks to collectors.
If it has a barrel shroud, like the one in the picture of Post #5, it is definitely a Model 19.
