A quick pass around the outdoor flea market in Gloucester produced a nice find for $5. A Federal Man B230 Bucheimer holster in nice condition. Marked patent pending must be early production in black. Looking on this forum back to 2017 it was made around 1961-3. The gun was made in 1964, the same year the wife graduated high school. It was actually made for exactly the pistol I had and fit perfectly. Also picked up a box of Federal 44 Mag 240 grain hollow points for my Marlin stainless carbine. Went back picked up my honey and we had some seafood and cranked up the AC for the trip home. Got home showing 63.2 MPG for over 450 miles on this tank. Gas prices have jumped close to 40 cents a gallon here but even with that it's still less than 5 cents a mile.

A good day taking a break from Pickleball.

Good score. When at our flea market one time I asked my wife to point out any holsters she spots. She saw one and I went over not expecting much. But it was a black S.D. Myres in the Patton style but black, basketweave, and for a 6” Colt Python. A very late one. Guy wouldn’t budge on $25 bucks but threw in a hardcover book I wanted. I sold it and took her out to dinner.

Used to hit all the flea markets in and around Tidewater back in late 70s-90s. Found lots of goodies. Sadly today most flea markets are just dumping grounds for cheap china stuff. Few out of the way ones are ok.
