Case Pocket Knives

A friend of my wife's cousin (and my shooting buddy) is helping to sell a large collection of knives for his deceased friend's wife (Whew - follow all of that?). There is a ton of Case folders, Schrade and other American makers, and a fair number of collectibles, including a movie prop sword for the Blind Ninja movie. I will post a few pictures of knives I purchased later today. PM me your contact info and I will pass it on to Fred (seller for Fred's deceased buddy).

Note - these are new in the box knives , most with original boxes. The collection is in the Seattle area.

I don't collect them. But, my Trapper that I bought in 1985 is my favorite knife. It has been with me on all my hunting trips since then. Case even replace one of the blades for me at no charge. I bought my son a Case sheaf knife for his twelve Birthday. I may own many guns, but just one really good knife.

I've got about 20 "Stockman" style pocket knives, two of which are from Case. Love them, and appreciate the fact that they are still made in the USA to very high quality standards.

I've got three Buck stockman knives and the modern USA-made one is not as good as either the USA-made version from the early 1980s that I have, or even the modern Chinese-made version for that matter. I think Buck is making a HUGE mistake - the Chinese version wears the BUCK name on the side in plain view, but the modern American version only has their funky logo with a hammer and knife on the side. You don't even know the USA-made one is a Buck unless you open the blade and look at the small print at the base of the blade. It should be the other way around!
