At one point I had 11 629's. I sold 2 duplicates, a 629-2E 3" and a 629-1 3". The remaining 9 consist of PC 629-5 2 1/2" Comp, 629-1 3", 629-2 Mountain Gun, 629-2E 3", 629-4 3", 629-4 3" Trail Boss, 629-1 4", 629-3 5", and 629-5 Power Port. Here is a few pictures.

I'll throw in a couple more out of the safe. Mr Footlong, a dash 5 Extreme Hunter. The factory did a fantastic job with the action on this six shooter.

Actually I love the 629, all they way from a 2 1/2 inch bbl up to 8 inches. They look and feel really cool. I just have no need for a larger caliber revolver than the .357 magnum.
How’s this for back in the day custom .44 magnum, unbelievably accurate and has fired many rounds but is still tight and a quality shooter.

Agreed! Have a 3”, 4” MG, 5” Classic, and a unique pinned and recessed 629-0 6”. My favorite shooter is my heavy lug 5” as well. Jim
No dash P&R. rather uncommon.
They get used, too!
