Picked up at he gun shop I work at. A really nice Military and Police .38 Special, 4th pattern, mfg in about 1920. It is about 60-65%, and has a later pair of 1960s (I think) S&W grips. The unusual think s that it has been worked over, and is the smoothest double action I have ever had. It has a King's mirror reflecting front sight, King's "cock-eyed" offset, case hardened wide hammer, and the rear sight notch milled wider. The only detractor is a broken off screw head by the top strap.

My guess is that it will be a good shooter. Bore is bright and crisp, and the internals are immaculate. I plan on having it live in my RV trailer during the summer, with some Bianchi speed strips of snake shot, and some of Winchester 130 grain JHP (standard velocity) Train and Defend ammo as a back up piece for my EDC pistol. That Winchester ammo is excellent, as it opens to .62" from a 4" revolver, with standard pressures.
