Flooding Destroys Houses, Businesses in Ruidoso

I guess it's just one thing after another. First wildfires that get 2,000 houses over the past 1.5 years, now moderate rainfall running straight off burn scars washing away homes and businesses. Even the racetrack is flooded again. Still raining. The river rose 18 feet in 30 minutes.

I have been to Ruidoso . The town and area are beautiful.All the people I have met there are very good people.I will pray for them.

Ruidoso and to a lesser extent Cloudcroft are popular weekend spots for folks in my part of TX. Both are wonderful historic villages that have seen more than their shares of natural disasters.
