Whats your latest purchase? "guns/accessories"

I just received a Wright holster for my 4006TSW with Streamlight TLR-8 AG. Excellent work, as usual, and I like how they can still accommodate some of the 3rd gen pistols. I wanted the light since this is just a range & house sidearm.

Picked up an M&P Carry Comp... only 100 rounds through it so far, still evaluating whether it's an improvement over my regular 2.0.

Now that Anderson Manufacturing is kaput, I decided to grab this complete upper for a budget assembly later on.

I also recently picked up this Springfield Echelon 4.0C package deal. Range bag, 5 mags and also a nylon gun bag. Plus I bought a Vortex Defender ST green dot to go on it.20250710_132701.jpg

Canik Mete SFT.....4.5" barrel. 18 and 20 round mags, excellent trigger, great ergonomics, mag well extension (included in the box). I added the Mecanik M01 red dot. First 250 rounds without the dot with no failures and very accurate.1000000266.webp

S&W M638.
I've owned and carried a M49/649 almost continuously since 1980 and have always wanted to get the Airweight version.
State of Ohio has a 2 week sales tax holiday that covers just about everything with individual cost up to $500.
Being retired LEO I qualified for the S&W Individual Officer program and I found that a local LEO dealer had 1 LEO designated M638 in stock so it was an easy decision.
Timing checked out perfectly, the barrel seems to be clocked properly, there was no crack in the frame below the barrel threads, the BC gap appeared to be good and the action was reasonably smooth for a brand new production revolver. So I was good to go.
Now if the dag gone heat & humidity would let up so I can get to the range to put some rounds through it.

Ordered a Romanian Draco 12.25" pistol Friday, a triangle aluminum folding stock, and a 1913 mounting adapter Saturday. They make a USA made model now, but I like the imports. I have 3 other AK's so no worry of intent till I get the stamp. Hope it will be 3 days like my last one.

A S&W 22A, and an IWI Masada Slim Elite. I'm currently working on an early 9mm Shield EZ but it has to go back to the mother ship for some recall work first.

Taurus model 942 22LR, stainless steel, 8 round cylinder, very good trigger on par with my J frame 36. Took off the factory grips and mounted these vintage Taurus small frame walnut stocks. Nice little plinker.1000000276.webp

This just came in, working here is gonna be harder than I thought...
Hard to come by Sig Rattler, at cost, I suppose the only reason it didn't come home with me yesterday is it isn't 300 Black or it would have.
