Show me some J frame Pics

Starting from the top is a 3 inch model 36 from the floating J years. Second one down is a 638 that I inherited . The third one down is a 442. Fourth one down as a model 60 I found in A gun shop was darn near perfect condition when I got it the action wasn't even broke in I had to dry fire a whole bunch and lube to get it to smooth out and lighten up. Last one's a model 37. I think I've had that one the longest. I bobbed the hammer. I rotate all as carry guns except for the 3 inch in my pocket. All the guns have rubber grips because I shoot them all and I carry them all.

You must like those Pachmayers! As do I.

Here are my favorite J frames, the Centennials! A couple have been added since this old pic.

This finish is notorious for not holding up well. It was the coating they put on it. When I worked at Gun Shops we sent a few to S & W for repair. They were either repaired or replaced I can't remember which. Mine is just starting to show. It's my Florida Pocket Gun. Only carried in the winter for Four months.IMG_0318.jpeg
