Defensive Revolver Classes...

Mas Ayoob has started revolver classes, he didn't give details. Check Massad Ayoob Group. FWIW, I learned more about revolver use from him in LFI-1 back in the last century than I did from our S&W Academy certified instructors at work.

There is much wisdom in the above comment on the abilities of a lot (majority?) of shooters.

I remember his Lethal Force Institute and that was 40 years ago. Revolvers were quite prominent back then.

Mas has an approximately 10 minute video running on YT currently that addresses revolver reloads. Good refresher. Just seize onto a technique, be aware of variations that might be required, and go with it.

I am hoping a buddy can attend a class with me. We might end up going out to Thunder Ranch sometime next year as he needs to set aside funds and get a chance to set it up with work. Thank everyone for the recommendations.

Does anyone know of any upcoming defensive revolver classes? And can you recommend some good instructors for the classes?
Valley Defense Consultants from Modesto, Ca. Is hosting a one day revolver class in Ruskin, Fl. on 11/29/25. Lead instructor Vince Bizzini is a multi Gunsite grad (1988, 1989, 1990, and at least one move visit). He is also an adjunct Thunder Ranch instructor, prior to Clint Smith selling the ranch and moving to Wyoming. Ruskin, Fl. Is near Tampa, on the Gulf Coast. Hope you can attend!

As I get older, this is so accurate.
Some of it is physical stamina.
The ability to process and commit information to my mind is much better with a more compact course and time to think.

I ran into this with an Appleseed rifle course held over a weekend. The most valuable time, at least for my mind/learning, was the first four hours. Diminishing returns after lunch… But was refreshed for day two.

May be different for other folks, but I also like shorter periodic learning. I did a two day shooting course two years ago - two four sessions was valuable.
Sadly, I can relate to this all too well… 👴

I know the OP is in the Denver area, but for anyone in or around Indiana, I know of a couple of revolver class planned for the future. I'll post here when something is firmed up.
