I was lucky to be gifted several cases of Nyclad wadcutters on a late night visit to Rodmans Neck just before I retired. These were left over rounds from Transit the JOB were left with. So many cases they were giving them away to a select few I guess, me being fortunate enough to be a recipient.
Bottom line, if you don’t need to penetrate a windshield and deal with higher recoil, the wad cutter is probably your best choice for a J frame, 2” or 3” revolver.

As you know, the 135gr GD, was developed by and for the NYPD, primarily for the 4”, but also excelled in the J frames. When offered to the public it fast became a winner for Speer.
