Load data for 9mm para with AA#2 (imp)

I just bought AA#2 to use in 9mm para shells with Frontier bullets, FP swagged, 125gr. My local ammo seller told me he uses always 5,2 gr. of AA2
Has someone over there already used this combination ?
There's not much to find about AA2 with 9mm...

Go the the Accurate Website and download their condensed manual in PDF format at this link Reloading Data. There's plenty of data on the 9mm with #2 in there.

One of the problems with taking someones verbal remembering regarding load data is that they can easily be wrong. If your local retailer uses 5.2gr for a 125gr lead bullet he's loading beyond the manuals recommened max.

The tables in Lee Modern 2nd Ed. List a load for Accurate #2 with 125gr lead bullet of 4.1grs(935 fps)to 4.5grs (1063 fps).

Based on this and what Steve posted, go by published data not what someone says which may or may not be correct. Try and verify from at least two sources, Which you are by asking here.

those bullets are FMJ, with a flat point (FP)
And I did already download those data from the AA website. I just can see 3 load data for 9mm, with AA2 and 125 gr bullets...Is there something I'am missing? ?

Is it this companies bullets??

CMJ bullets

If so, are the copper "plated" bullets?

If they are, than I would use the lead data to start with.

Some plated bullets say to use the lead bullet data others say to use midway of the FMJ data.

Lee data for a 124gr Copper Plated 9mm with AA#2 is:
3.7 to 4.1 max

FMJ and swagged does not compute, two different types.
If copper plated then you would use lead loading data which should be same as for swagged bullet.
FMJ is an totally diferent bullet.
Your bullets may be swagged lead which are then electroplated with a very thin coating of copper.

Under the lead bullet information use data for 124gr LC (lead conical). One grain is too small to change the data and you should work up the load anyway. Data says for AA#2 with 124gr Lead bullet use 4.0 start to 4.6 maximum. Set you OAL to the maximum that will chamber and fit your magazines up to but no longer than SAAMI maximum of 1.169".

IMHO, for this application 5.2gr of AA #2 is entirely too much.

Loading 3,6 grains of AA2, with SP Magtech primers, with an AOL of 27,5 mm gives the best result in either a CZ Sp-01 Shadow, and in a Sig 225P
