Here's my Man Cave, its a 16x20 two story shop my wife built for me last year. Since then I've only been in there about 2 weeks total, 4 more months to go on this 2 yr tour. I do have a 40 meter rifle/pistol range built outside on the right.

I built mine from plans that I found on the internet. I added the shelving and trim to make things convenient. Later I added the shelf on the right end to accomodate a Lee Classic Turret Press that I bought for all my handgun rounds.

Reloading bench
Here's mine. Located in the top secret shed in my back yard.
Of course, the Duke oversees the entire operation...

97thSignalman - Now that is one impressive setup. Very neat, organized, clean, etc. After saving the pics I went onto my porch and looked at my setup (I won't embarrass myself with pics). Now I need to find the right time to speak to my wife about some new construction in the basement. Thanks for sharing this.

There's a stainless or aluminum cylinder with a valve on the bottom hanging from the ceiling. Just curious - What's that about?

It is stainless steel, you are correct! It is a shot hopper to load up the shot bottles on my shotshell loader (not pictured). Holds 75 pounds of shot and is on a pulley to lower it to the floor for easy loading of the 25 pound shot bags. Once it's in the overhead position, it's safety chained to the structure.
It simply connects to the top of the shot bottle and I don't need to refill it for quite some time. It's not really because I load that much, it's more that I don't/didn't like pouring the shot into the bottles at head-height.
This is what it looks like with the loader:

JC 85, Actually its not a magnifying glass but a mirror which I use to trim my beard. My bench doubles as beard trimming bench. Thats why its such a mess.

The Rockchucker has been replaced with a 550 since these pics, but the layout remains the same. The Rockchucker is mounted on a piece of plywood and clamped to the bench in the open area when needed.
The bench is an old piece of kitchen counter top on the cheapest under counter cabinets at the home store. Added a sheet of 3/4 inch plywood with a tube of construction adhesive for extra stiffening. Easy clean surface, lots of storage and solid as a rock. The presses are mounted off to the right to leave a large area for gun cleaning and miscellaneous tasks. The vise with soft jaws is used a lot more than you'd think on a reloading bench. The typing table holds my brass low to my right hand when using the presses, just the way I like it.
When not in use, the typing table stores in the knee hole of the bench.

I see you got one of those Smith Tri-Hones as well. Had mine since the '80s.
Do they even make them anymore?

That toilet has saved me a lot of stairs in the 35 years I've been in this house. I highly recommend a basement toilet to anyone contemplating new construction.

One thing that I noticed with everyones bench is that they all seem to be setup to handle loading while seated at a stool. When I made my benches, I designed them so that I would be standing with the top of the bench at 40". I find that it is a lot easier running the various presses when I'm standing with the added leverage. Does anyone else load standing?

Sitting to reload seems to be a necessity as old age comes storming in!
As far as a convenient toilet, the front porch seems to work well.

The front porch is not an option here. I have watered the weeds
off the back porch after dark when the residents of the retirement
home I share the back yard with are all asleep. Don't tell my wife.
She has always wondered the secret of my green thumb.
Let's see some more reloading benches! This thread seems to be headed
down hill fast.
Yeah it's minimal but it does make precision ammo.

Thanks! I got the Redding UltraMag between 25 and 30 years ago
when a business closed shop here. All their stuff lasts forever
given proper treatment.
Just got a shipment of the nickel Starline .44spl brass so now I
have something to play with tonight!

I've got to make time to reload some rifle ammo...!!! I am set with pistol ammo (my 650)....but I was given a 550 and darn it I have yet to crank out my .45-70, 30-40 Krag, 30-06 etc....
Gardens, lawns, spraying weeds...all these seem to keep me busy!
Priorities!

We are in the process of moving from the country to the city. Hopefully I will be able to find a place to shoot in the Fort Worth area. With that in mind I have been on the lookout for something to use as a reloading bench in the limited area I will have here. I decided on an area behind the stairs from the garage to the house.
Last weekend I found an oak drafting table for a reasonable price at an estate sale. This weekend I bought a couple of 8' 2x10's and built some shelves above it. I will put my scale and powder on the lower shelf, my turrets with dies installed and the related shell holder, are in the shorter coffee cans. My Pro Auto powder measures are in the taller coffee cans at the back of the bench, under the shelves, as well as a shorter can with the primer setups. The top shelf is for taller misc items. The first photo shows this.
I also cut a couple of boards to put across the bottom stretchers. Bullets and cans of brass will go there as shown in the second photo.
The third photo shows my Luxo lamp attached.
The last photo shows the neat lockable drawer for primers, calipers, and other little things.
I believe this will take care of my needs for the forseeable future if I can keep from cluttering it up. I made an effort to not bring a lot of odds and ends I have accumulated over the years, and I will probably get rid of a lot of dies, etc., that I do not use any more.
I have less than $100 in the setup.

Novalty, nice bench. I would have jumped on that in a flash.
Yes, Folgers cans may be the best invention since WD-40 and the spread sheet!!!!!!!
I'm kind of getting short on the shorter ones, as we have been buying at Sam's the last few years. I find myself emptying non-essentials out of the short ones and putting them aside for reloading.
Oops, that was posted by Nemo, not Novalty. I guess I was dazed by Novalty's appreciation of my Folgers cans.

Guys, that isn't really my reloading room. It's just a picture I found on-line somewhere.
