Has anyone used these in 55 gr for your AR 15 ?
What kind of groups do you get at 100 yds in your AR 15 ?

I'll try to find it, but someone posted recently that they are all they shoot. I shoot the Hornady version (I suspect they are the same bullet from the same supplier, but I have no proof). The Hornady's give me way under sub MOA with my Stag AR.

Edit: It was a post on the other forum I frequent. They are just a hair cheaper than the Hornady, and like I said, I suspect they are the same bullet. Below is my range report from the Hornady. I see no reaso why you couldn't get similar results with the Midsouth brand.

What was your over all length with the bullet seated ?

OAL was 2.21"

they arent Hornady they are Nosler, totally different bullet profile and MidSouth says in conjunction with Nosler.

I don't see anywhere that they say in conjuction with anyone. The B/C and S/D are the same as the Hornady.


Edit to add: I think you are thinking about the Midway USA dogtown bullets. Now Midway (not Midsouth) does say they are in conjuction with Nosler. I stand behind my belief the Midsouth Varmint Nightmare's being made by Honady.

I also believe the varmint nightmaes are from Nosler, I hav both and you put some in your hand and close it and shake them up I cannot pick which ones are which.
