I am haveing problems finding data for the 460 using 200 and 225 gr Hornady soft tip bullets. Anyone have some answers.

Well Volume #8 has data for the 200 gr, Nothing for a 225. Maybe the new Vol 9 has it?
You might want to contact Hornady and pick up a manual.
I just wanted to add welcome to the forum, but you are messing with a big powerful cartridge and I am not going to print out any load data. I have no idea how much experience you have with reloading. Hodgdon online has lots of data for their powder and other bullets.

There really isn't a LOT of published data out there for the .460.
I've emailed bullet, and powder mfgs, and haven't found what I'm looking for yet.

At one time Hornady had load data for the .460 and their FTX bullets on their website. Since the release of their new manual, those have disappeared. I assume it's because they are now in the new manual. Horonady makes great bullets for use in the .460 and it's manuals give a good variety of loads for it. For anyone shooting a .460 it is well worth the investment. Hodgdon's website is good also, but some of their min loads are mighty stiff to start with. If you use their site, I recommend starting at min. Problem is that bullet availability for true .460 velocities with good terminal performance are few. Speer's 300gr Deep Curl is another good performer in the .460 and can be loaded with Hornady's load data for their 300gr XTP-MAG. BTW....while the 200 gr FTXs are great for paper and varmints, they are too fragile for deer sized and larger game. Just my 2 cents.
I only use the Hornady 240 XTP MAG for full power loads, over 45.0 grains of win 296 as per hogdons web site and I get 1917 FPS from it. For medium power loads, I use A 5744. Accurate has a pdf with load data. I use it for loads around 1400 fps. For 1200 or less, I use trail boss.
I have tried a number of loads in my 460 x frame and have chronographed many of them. What are your goals?
I just shot some 200 and 225 grain speer bullets on Sunday. One of them was called the "flying ashtray." I loaded them over 38.0 grains of 5744. I didn't chrono them, but they shot fine and seemed accurate to clay pigeon at 75 yards.
A 240 grain sierra jacketed bullet over 33.0 grains of 5744 = 1265 fps. The same bullet over 38.0 of 5744 = 1431.8 fps.
5744 is safe to download, but will leave unburned powder. The granules fall out of the chambers when I eject the brass. It will also push the bullets almost as fast as 296, according to Accurate data.
Trail boss works with any bullet in the 460, both jacketed and cast lead.

At one time - upon a phone request, Hornady would mail out xeroxed copies of individual bullet data. You had to be specific as to bullet weight but I'm not sure if they'll still do that.
