Who is a GOOD source for cast bullets

I've been happy with bullets from:

SNS Casting link

Missouri Bullet link

Dardas Cast Bullets link

As others have mentioned there are some differences between the three. If you need quantity, all offer discounts for larger quantities. You really do want to try and buy at least a USPS Flat rate box full to minimize the shipping costs.

I've used all 3 of these guys and they are awesome. Easy to deal with and great service. I'm sure there are a lot of others out there, but these 3 have more than done their share to earn all of my cast bullet business. I personally can't afford to make them myself for the prices these guys charge.

Lucky 13 bullets is where I get mine. You can get 158gr SWC sized to .358 at $38/500 shipped. My gun club has a promo code with them for a 10% discount on top of these prices. Hardness is 16 Brinnell. Quality is good. I have made several orders with them with no problems, prompt shipping even during these times of extreme demand. They are located in North Carolina.

+1 for Lucky13
I am in NC and usually get them next day if I order early and they are in stock. Out of stock items are usually filled within a week.

When ever you want something done right and I mean really done right, as far as to style, weight, exact size, alloy temper, bullet lubricant and perfect quality control....you got to just do it yourself.

That's the only way I have found to get exactly what I wanted and you don't have to be at the mercy of another parties inventory or lack of goods.
Bullet casting...become the master of your own bullet supply.

I have a set of molds, tried it, and found I do not have the patience for casting plinking bullets.

Pre-melt scrap, clean the dross, get the mold the right temp,,,,,,,etc,,,,,,,

Then clean up the mess and put the $400 worth of equipment away,,,,,,,

I ran the numbers today, I will let the other guy cast, size, lube and deliver my 44 cal @ $0.10 each.

JMHO.

Thanks everyone for your help. After looking at all the sites and comparing what's available I've decided to try out some bullets from SNS. They just happen to carry some 158gr bullets that would work well for my .357 and some 125's for my 9mm. they also carry .30 cal which will come in handy if I can ever find any rifle powder.

Best cast bullets I've found in .44, .41 mag, .357 and some rifle calibers come from Montana Bullet Works. They cast their bullets to your specs and can heat treat them and have a wide variety of gas check designs. I don't like any of their .45ACP designs so I get those locally or make them myself from a H&G 68 mold.

I would suggest you take a look at Montana Bullet Works, it is just my opinion Dave Jennings, at Montana Bullet Works can't be beat. He might be back to work but I'm unsure. I have bought from him and always had good results using his products.

Nice looking bullets but they cost more than jacketed bullets .

Mid Atlantic Bullets hands down, SNS is good as well. I've tried many of the others above, and frankly....there is no comparison in quality. Their lube, consistency, and product quality is fantastic.

After ordering a number of times from one of the big favorites above, I got sick of opening the box to find all the blue lube out of the bullet and at the bottom of the box. Their explanation was 'rough handling' in delivery, and it won't affect accuracy. Sorry, but that is untrue and unacceptable. So much for their customer service and product quality. Can't blame the Postman for EVERY shipment. I'll take my money elsewhere. Their reputation may have been established years ago, but is now is undeserved. Their efforts to meet customer demand by boosting production is admirable, but quality has taken a nosedive. Never had a problem with Mid-Atlantic or SNS.

Maybe just the internet, but that site seems dead. :(

I think you're right..Internet or Website issues...I can't bring 'em up either. Know they are still in business, just put in an order the other day

I can't say enough about these guys:

http://www.meisterbullets.com/

Weight consistency is good, QC is good. In the last 500 bullets I loaded, I found exactly 3 with no lube. I consider that acceptable.

Their prices are competitive AND they pay the freight cost. Shipping is very prompt. Their service is top flight.

Try them, you will like them.

Falcon Bullet Company. They just started up and have been buried in orders. I've tried 3 companies and I don't buy from anyone else anymore. Good product at a fair price.

I have to agree here, Falcon Bullet Company has very good prices and excellent quality. I have ordered 9mm and 45acp from them so far. Intend to buy 38 caliber from them also. You can order 100 count sample packs to see if you like them. I get 2 day priority shipping for up to 2000 boxed bullets or 3000 bulk packed. ($13) I've got 4 brand new bullet molds that have never been used yet; hard to do all the work when I can buy at their prices. They also have Deal of the Day where they discount a particular bullet for a day (or maybe 2). :)

Bayou Bullets - Best prices of all the cast bullet makers. Their "dry lube" coating keeps the smoke to a minimun and resists fouling. They still sell bullets for around 7 to 8 cents each in quantity, delivered. You can't go wrong with these guys.
