Loading Data for 32 Plated Bullets
At the gun show in Roanoke, VA this weekend, I got a bag of 188 Ranier plated bullets... they are 100 grain, .312" diameter hollow points. The Ranier website says to use published load data (for jacketed bullets) from the powder manufacturer, but I can't find much for a 100 grain bullet in 327 Fed Mag. Is anybody loading this bullet with say, Accurate #7 or #9? How about WW 231 or 296? Any and all tested loads you are willing to share would be most highly appreciated.

Thanks, Alk8944. I must admit I missed the Hodgdon site since I was looking for data for powder I already have (in this day and time, that's an important consideration!) I'm still hoping I can find data for one of the powders I have on hand, but I may have to go look for some CFE Pistol or Li'l Gun.

Well, IMR and Winchester are on the Hodgdon site too.
Hodgdon - The Gun Powder People
And Alliant:
Alliant Powder - Home
And Accurate:
Accurate Powders
It really isn't that difficult.

Thanks again. I was looking for this stuff on my iPad and didn't navigate it very well. I'm still looking for some data for a couple of other powders, but you got me enough info to make a good start.
Regards,

Froggie,
For information, in addition to what's on the powder company sites, the February 2015 issue of "Handloader" magazine published .327 Federal Magnum loads developed using a Ruger 7 1/2" barreled Single Seven. There's data for 100 gr. Speer Gold Dot HP, 100 gr. Hornady XTP, A-7 and A-9. If you're interested, give me your email address and I'll send you that data.

Thanks George. I obviously started typing before I started thinking... I do that sometimes. I was so pleased to find these plated bullets, which I have never reloaded before that I didn't think to go back to the pages I had gleaned for lead bullet data. That article will be a good one and I even have a digital copy of it sent to me by Dale53 when it was first published. Thanks to both of you who responded with such spot-on info, and now I'll be able to try to get something going on the bench in the next day or two.
