Default Lyman Corp.

Outstanding customer service, but not good for communication.

I sent Lyman an inquiry via their website about a week or so ago.

Essentially it went like this:

"I bought a Gen6 powder measure a while back. To make a long story short, my ex wifes pet pig ate the power supply and dust cover. Are those parts I can purchase separately?"

Gave them my email address and never heard a word. Even checked my spam. Lo and behold yesterday my girl friend texted me a picture of a package that can in the mail. It was addressed from Lyman. Sure enough there was my power supply and dust cover-FREE.

I have had similar experiences in the past with Lyman, but they always come through.

If my wife's pig ate my stuff, she'd be an ex-wife also.

I have to wonder why you keep your powder measure in the pig pen? Surely it wasn't in the house. Lyman does have great customer service though.

They do have great customer service . Years ago I bought a 2 cav mold , Lyman 358429 (Keith swc / 38-357) that cast undersize bullets , no matter how hard the alloy the best was .355 . I called them . The customer svc gal told me to send it back along with some of my castings . About 3 wks later it came back with a note saying that " yes " it was undersize and they had recut it . They sent along a specimen they had cast . Now , using Lyman #2 alloy it cast .360 . Regards, Paul

Another reason she is an ex. Had to have a miniature pig, and yes it was in the house (basement).

What did you do, convert her mini pig into mini ham, mini ribs and mini bacon?

Maybe Lyman had trouble " digesting " that story but after thinking it more creative than " my dog ate it " and getting all the laughing out the way....got the parts in the mail .

Our Danish Friends know what to do with miniature pigs.
They are Bright Folks!
They also actually make food with Prunes that’s delicious!
