Advice on cleaning a powder measure reservoir
Greetings!
I have a small dilemma. Normally, when throwing powder charges for my rifle ammo, I would use my Lyman Powder Dispensing System, but the attached scale has become extremely unreliable.
I have rebuilt my old Hornady powder measure, and it has a problem with static electricity and powder cling. This was never a problem when I used the same powder for: 223, 308, and 30-06. Now I am also loading 7mm Rem Mag and using a vastly different powder. I need to remove the residual 2520 before I load the 7828, and the reservoir tube is an extremely tight fit.
How would you suggest that I remove the powder that is clinging due to static electricity?
Thanks in advance for your help!

I 'think' a used dryer sheet should do it.
Others should chime in here.

If you don't remove the tube, it will be a complete PITA to clean. Compressed air, dryer sheet, and a long brush will be needed. While a toothbrush can be made to work, a long artists paint brush might work better to get the last bits.
When mine needs cleaning I "pull" the tube off - actually "unscrew as if it were threaded" would be a better description - and use One Shot gun cleaner and lube on all parts as recommended in the user manual.

When I have powder that clings to the reservoir I get out my graduated cylinder brush (bottle brush) and dust it out. I also have my presses grounded to bleed off as much static as possible but the bottle brush goes a great job.
