RMR Bullets
Hi, has anybody used bullets from Rocky Mountain Reloading?
What I'm thinking of getting are the 9mm 115 Full Metal Jacket round nose. The price is $96.00 for 1000.

Yep! They're a great company to deal with and the bullets are nicely done. I shoot a lot of their 124 gr 9mm bullets.

RMR is the real deal. Jake started that company I dunno how long ago but I would guess my first purchase to be a decade ago or more. Back then he was working with a high volume of pull down reclamation projects. I bought frequent fat piles of pull down slugs from him and every part of the purchase experience was top drawer.
Specifically, what do I mean when I say every part? Easy. The website was fast and glitch-free, always. The product was clearly described and accurate to what was received. Clicking and ordering was flawless along with confirmation e-mail and tracking. The speed of the order process to shipment is almost absurdly fast. The quality of the packaging has always been top notch and finally… the product does exactly what I want and expect.
His company has grown and evolved and he’s been manufacturing bullets for a while now and he’s still great to buy from. His flat nose 124 grain 9mm slugs are well respected in Bullseye circles as a high volume and lower cost practice option that compares well with the Hornady HAP bullets.
Apologies if this sounds like a paid review — it isn’t. It’s just been my experience that this guy is one of us and he runs his business the way any one of us would want. Maybe it’s because I recently read the Tyler-T Grip discussion and I’m simply happy to have repeat experience with a damn good outfit.
My most recent buy from RMR was maybe 2 months ago.

I got 2 k of them in a package of stuff I bought at an auction. Excellent bullet and extremely consistent weight wise and diameter. As accurate as I can hold them out of everyone of our 9mms. They are the 124gr match winners. They are comparable to the Montana Gold 124 grain jhps that we normally shoot. 3 grains of TG is the magic number for us. I believe I’ll order some of the 147 grain match winners for use in the wife’s 350 Legend rifles.

Targetsports has them. Expensive, but what isn’t today…. The days of 2.8 cent primers are done!

RMR is the first place I look when I need pistol bullets.
And they have had bulk Hornady 6.5mm match bullets off and on this past year.
Totally agree with everything Sevens said.
The first or second year I was buying from them, I ordered some 124 gr fmj. Jake called me and asked me if he could substitute their then new 115 fmj. Said he would give me a break on the price and throw in a few extra. Don't remember the price; it was a couple dollars off, but the "few extra" bullets turned out to be 152. RMR has pretty much had my business since then.

I too have purchased many RMR bullets, most 9mm JHP. The first bullets I got, 124 gr. JHP bullets, I weighed, measured and inspected them and they looked exactly like Nosler bullets, so I used Nosler data. In my amateur reloading/experience they perform the same in my 5, 9mm handguns. Excellent service, shipping and products (If they made .357" bullets with a cannelure I would grab some up real quick for my 38 +P and 357 Magnum loads)...

Just ordered another 1k of 124Gr MPR. I would like to get my tracking number before the bullets arrive, instead of after FedEx leaves them at my door. That's my only complaint.

I have been very satisfied with RMR FMJ 9mm; in 115gr., 124gr., and 147gr. Very consistent weight and diameter.

RMR is spot on great company. I either cast, or buy from them. They have a 5% coupon code listed on another forum.

I'll add my voice to the rest, buy without worries. They are great people to do business with and very professional. Ever since I tried their bullets I have not bought jacketed bullets from anyone else.
While the FMJ 115gr bullets are good might I suggest the 124 gr Jacketed Hollow Point (Multi Purpose Round) Bullets.
For only a few dollars more I feel they are a much better choice and are extremely accurate for me. (not that the 115gr FMJ bullets are bad in any way)

Keep in mind that their prices include shipping.
If you are the patient sort get on their mailing list. They run discounts fairly often.

Was just in The Sportsman’s Shop in East Earl PA. Had a good selection of Winchester primers. Not cheap - $10 per, but in todays world …….
I stocked up on large and small pistol.

When I loaded 9mm, they were the go to place for bulk, fmj 115/124gr bullets. Always cheapest available, great customer service/shipping times. That was before all the gouging and greed that's going on now, EVERYWHERE. I imagine still a good place for bulk bullets though, haven't bought from him in 5+yrs.

I have never tried RMR bullets, and I don't mean to hijack a thread, but, Widener's has 2000 count boxes of FMJ 124gr. for $154. If you like 158gr FMJ's for .38/.357 they have those. Not as good a price as the 9mm 124's, but they are cheap and great for reloads in my Marlin 94c.

By the time you pay shipping from Wideners, the difference in price will be minimal. The difference in accuracy will be significant in favor of RMR. Also, you won’t find better people to deal with than Jake and his team at RMR.

RMR are great. Also check out Everglades Ammo in Naples Florida. Their bullet prices include shipping.

With tax and shipping is still $20 cheaper for me, and Wideners is scary fast on shipping. As to the accuracy, the ones from Wideners are great for my use.
Luckily we are at the place right now with component availability that there are plenty of choices, primers excepted, of course.
