Scheels has a pretty good sale starting tomorrow and running until Sunday, 3-26. All primers, powder and bullets are 15% off. CCI and Remington SPP normally $84.99 for $72.25. Rapid City store had a lot of both today, along with other primer sizes and various powder. If you have a store local, it may be worth a trip.

I got some CCI SPP today at Scheels. paid the price but I'm replacing the old primers I am using to load now. Price is High...but I am staying ahead of the game JIC. I had a Scheels credit card I hardly ever used. It expired. I signed up for a new one. Got a 70 dollar gift card...so I'm going to have less than 5 dollar primers...just this once

No chance for me. No stores east of the Mississippi and I'm in PA!

I see no stores on the west coast either, all 3 states.

Same here. Closest store is in Reno and I am 8000 miles away in South East Asia. Sale will be over when I get back on the 28th. 15% off their recent prices is still pretty high.

There's one 80 miles from me, in Springfield, Illinois. So at least one is east of the Mississippi. I just bought primers from Nachez at $100 per thousand, but by the time I drive my truck to Scheels and back they'd be about as high. Too cold today to take the Harley.

I like Scheels. I wonder if people will be lined up at the door to buy them.

Have a Scheels about 1.5 hrs due south. There were always good about trying to keep reloading supplies/rounds stocked during various shortages. They did this through higher pricing, but it worked and kept some supplies available.

How can you have a sale when you have no stock? I check Scheels in Colorado regularly; shot shell primers only, limited bullets and powder. I always go home empty handed.
Just got back from Omaha Scheels. They had plenty of stock in primers, with the exception of large rifle. Good selection of powder and bullets. They had a huge crowd of customers and most looked happy leaving with their treasures of reloading components and/or factory ammo.
Scheels prices seem to vary from store to store. Sale price for primers in the Omaha store was $89.99. Normally $105/1000.
I'm still good on components so I left empty handed.

That seems strange that their prices would vary from store to store within their chain. Also, I’ve had Scheels price match here in the past with other stores and they’ve always been happy to do that. Sorry it didn’t work out.

The new Scheels store is being built here. It is scheduled to open summer 2024. It will be about a mile from my house!

Really not that strange. Wal-Mart does it all the time. There are 3 within a 15 mile radius where I live. The one in Wilkes Barre has prices lower than the store in Dickson City. Wilkes Barre demographics are middle income working class and Dickson City has many expensive homes and a lot of professionals living in the area. I asked about the price difference and was told the prices are set to what the market can tolerate.

Scheels in Missoula had plenty of everything in stock. Only problem was a limit of one brick, per person, per day and 2 powder containers. Brought the wife and left with 2K primers. Going back today for some more...Thanks for the tip!!
