I'm looking to shoot my 10mms, G40 and 1911. I can't afford the ammo so I'm looking to load, but I have no brass to speak of. I found new Fiocchi brass at $180\K. I don't think I've ever reloaded that brand although I've left some on the range. Anybody know if it's much good?

Have never had a problem with Fiocchi brass that I have reloaded. Better asking price that my usual Starline Brass 10MM Auto Brass - Large Pistol - Brass Cases

I don't know about their 10mm brass, but I have a bunch of .45 Colt brass of theirs that I needed to chamfer the primer pockets to keep the primers from catching an edge during seating. Other than that it works great.

So far never have had a problem with their brass. But there is always a first time.........

If you want to save some money and you are willing to accept USED brass with mixed headstamp, I can recommend these folks:

once fired bulk brass for reloading in stock free shipping polished tumble cleaned range brass

My buddy turned me on to them and I’ve only bought once but it was just a couple weeks ago. I bought .357 Magnum brass.

They said they would send 1% more than promised to make up for any wrong pieces, unusable pieces or miscounts. What I received was 3-1/2% over, zero wrong pieces and zero damaged pieces. And based on decades of my own experience, the brass I received is almost surely once-fired.

The price drops FAST if you buy a thousand pieces.

Like I said, I have only one experience with them so far, but they logged a 10 out of 10 experience and I am impressed.

Starline is great brass, however sig nickel cases suck so steer clear of thoes.

Best I can suggest is have a buddy stand where they land or get an idea where you gun launches them...

My 1026 puts them atleast 25 ft away from where I stand....

I found new Fiocchi brass...

No experience using Fiocchi 10AUTO brass.

Starline is fine.

If hot 10AUTO loads are shot in unsupported barrels they'll bulge.

I've found that S&B brass was "slightly less likely" to bulge in my Banshee than the other popular brands I tried.

If buying brass, be aware that there are some with small primer pockets.

S&B is some of my favorite and most used brass in several calibers and in the case of the 6.8SPC is the best period. 10mm is a caliber I load alot of and I favor Starline and S&B or Sig. If you scavenge range brass Lee makes something they call the BulgeBuster, basically a pass-through sizer and really works. 10mm available.
Fiocchi/GFL/Perfecta is all basically the same company but really be aware that for whatever reason Perfecta seems to always have off center flash holes. I think the GFL stamped brass is probably the best but is really stiff brass. I have several hundred 44mag GFL cases Ive loaded so many times its ridiculous but is still in perfectly reloadable condition.

There is something seriously wrong going on here. Your gun has an oversized chamber, or your dies are out of spec, or both. Google "Hogan's goat". DO NOT RE-USE THIS BRASS. A "Bulge Buster" would make the brass look good again, but the damage has been done and is permanent. Flatten the brass so it can't be used again, and then recycle it.

Get new brass after you figure out the source of this dangerous situation.

$1699.00 for something that does that to the brass? Looks like it is a piece of junk............PISTOL, BANSHEE, Mk10, 10MM, 8" | CMMG - AR 15 and AR 10 Builds and Parts

You obviously haven't had any experience firing (+P) pistol caliber cartridges in AR platform pistols/rifles.

They all have the same problem, from what I've read, seen & experienced, because of the AR style rifle bolt used which differs from a breech locked pistol's slide & barrel/chamber enclosure. :(

It's a well known problem, documented across many brands, & it's cause is similar but different than the well publicized Glock smiles.

While these were hotter loads than standard published max charges these same loads in fully supported chambers do not bulge.

Factory loads that I've shot (most of which are weak) or moderate handloads won't bulge in the unsupported AR barrel/chambers.

Because too much of the head of the brass has nothing to support it in an AR style bolt, & unlike rifle brass which has very thick brass above the web, the brass between the AR bolt face & the chamber is only supported by the brass itself.

Completely different than found in typical pistols.

9x19 brass has much thicker brass above the web than 10AUTO has & consequently it's far less prone to bulging in an AR style pistol/rifle but if you push them (& I have) they'll start to bulge too, just a lot later.

And it's not isolated to the CMMG Banshees. My son has Kriss Vectors in 9x19 & 10AUTO & we both have Freedom Ordinance FX-9s, all AR style bolts which result in the same flaws with pistol caliber cartridges.

No, it's not good advertising for this style gun but it is what it is. You just have to shoot the appropriate loads in them or they'll bulge so using the "slightly" stronger brass option helps, a little. ;)
