I put in a notification at Midway a few years back, and got an email last week they were in stock. They are in stock at quite a few other places as well. Ordered 200 to play around with. Always wanted to see if I could safely push them a bit faster than the 875 fps factory load through my LCR.

I don't know why not , I push them faster than that in my m32 .

Be advised they are designed to work the best around 900fps or therebouts

hopefully an indication of other long absent ones to resurface. If the .357 170 gdsp, .25 cal 75 gn fsp or ,32 100 gn jhp ever reappear, am going to stock up.

A couple of weeks ago I got an order of 200 factory rounds and am expecting a delivery of 400 bullets from Speer today. Good to see them around again, I’ve been hoarding my last box of 50 to use in my house gun since they quit being available. Now if only they’d come out with the .44’s again I could quit saving the 100 I’ve been hoarding for my .44 Special.

Yep, that is what I've heard, ideally from 900 fps up to around 1200 fps with magnums. Apparently they use the same bullet for both .38+P and .357 factory loadings.

I've tried the following Speer published data for .38+P at 1.450" c.o.a.l.:

AA#7 with standard primers, 7.8 gr (830 fps) to 8.2 gr (866 fps). Very large ES and SD, and lower velocities than the published data even though my LCR has a pretty fast barrel. Overall just disappointing. I may try again using magnum primers but I don't have high expectations. Maybe I got a bad lot of powder?

HS-6 with magnum primers, 6.8 gr (841 fps) to 7.2 gr (917 fps) which blows away the factory load at 875 fps in this revolver. This powder really seems to shine at 30000 psi, but still does quite well for me at .38 +P pressures.

Outstanding accuracy with this bullet in both my LCR and 3" King Cobra.

Shot my new 16" Marlin 1894 today. Lots of load testing, but also snuck in a handful of 135 gr Gold Dots (.38+P factory load) just to see what they would do. They ran just under 1200 fps. Accurate as always, and very little recoil. Shooting these suppressed felt like .22 LR. Very quiet too.:D
