Default Third Model Perfected

I posted a picture of this gun back in March, and that photo was much softer than these. These new pics show the scratches, and most importantly, a possible cut down barrel. The front sight is mounted over the first couple letters of Smith. The barrel was crowned and whoever did it seems to have done a fairly good job. Can anyone tell me how this affects the value of the old girl? I found some minor scratches under the barrel where it apparently was put in a vice for the job.
