Default FOUND .38 new departure 4th price check

I posted this in the wrong section...I got 1 good comment but I see all the top break stuff is here.
I have 3 pre 1910 revolvers but no top breaks. I found one today at of all places G Mountain. Blued 4" .38 new departure 4th model circa 1906. The want $329 plus tax.. I thought I could get it for $300 but they wouldn't budge.
The kicker is it is in the wrong box.. a 1920 "Patent Box" which is worth something but I don't know how to value the 2 together.
The "Patent Box" is for a 38 M&P.
So I would get the lemon Squeezer in very good condition plus the "patent Box for $350 OTD after taxes. Too much a or a fair deal? Gander M has little idea what they have.

Thats a fair deal. Not great, but fair. Blued TB's are scarce. Stick the box on Ebay and watch it go for $75.00 or more : )

Depending on condition, that's a good price, IMO. I have one that I paid that much for several years ago, nickel with no box and some wear/loss of the plating, but mechanically sound and a good shooter. I just found another one today online, fairly close SN to mine, and I just bought it about an hour ago for about $350...again, nickel with some wear and loss, but mechanically very good.

Personally I feel it is worth a few dollars to own one of these gems, and I'm not so concerned about getting the best deal if I can find what I like.
Blue guns, especially with a box usually sell for a bit more than what they are asking. I would have grabbed it and run out the door...it's not like there are any new ones available.
