Have tried calling and their website leads me to a Spotify site. Are they on Holiday break, closed due to weather or out-of-business? Appreciate any reply.

Am looking for a cylinder stop for a .38 Double Action 4th. Neither Jack First or Numrich/Gun Parts Corp. have it. Any other sources? Thank you!

Just to give them a thumbs up I purchased 1917 parts and other parts from them a few years back via phone calls. Several different transactions. Very helpful. No clue about the current state of affairs.

When I was looking for a Colt New Service cylinder I set an eBay alert and waited. It took a while but I finally found one.

Or you could try a want-to-buy ad here.

Those can be hard to find, I needed one a few years ago and no one had them. Doesn't look like anyone has reproduced them either. Tried multiple places without any luck. I put one on my saved parts list with Numrich and eventually one showed up in stock after about a year or so.

Over the years "Jack First" has never had the S&W parts I was looking for.

That's curious - I guess it has to do with what one is looking for. I've had good luck finding parts from them. Most recently, a cylinder stop for a .44 Hand Ejector third model from 1929.

I got a stop for an old Colt DA38 New Army from Jack's a couple of years ago. They aren't the cheapest source around, but they have a pretty impressive supply of obsolete parts.

Bought an extra extractor from them several months ago, but transaction and shipping went fine. Paid a pretty penny for the part, but if it’s ever needed, at least it will be there.

Jack's First has always come through for me. I had a minor issue one time and they took care of it immediately. I'd recommend them highly.

I ordered some model 61 parts from them last weekend. They arrived in about three or four business days.
