A Couple of Oldies at the Range
The wind relented this AM and I made a quick dash for the range. Both targets shot at 15 paces. It was the first time I shot the 1932 vintage, .45 HE. This target 6 shots from a rest and it lived up to the accuracy folks relate about them, that ragged hole is three shots.
The triple lock was 5 shots with a two hand hold and I was pleased...

Those are a couple of fine old work horses.Like to see you shoot them. The triple lock target model don't hear many shooting them got to love old school at the range.
Thanks RB

Very cool; have you measured the cylinder throats on the .45 HE? That group looks better than what I get from my Model 25 no dash!

Looks like you had a fun day. Its neat to shoot some nice old vintage guns and relive the time period the best we can. I've seen on the shipping request dates that you have found some nice guns. Larry

I love it when the old ones get to show what they are capable of. Thanks for posting.

I like the N frame Sandersons. Does the bottom of the frame actually come out of the cutout some?

Thanks guys, I got the Sandersons several months before the TLock. The seller at the local gun show had them labled K-Herrett. They just seemed better for shooting than the factory service grips. I almost automatically put a T grip, or some type of target grips on a gun to range test it.
The frame is about flush with the window in the grips.
