I don't know the Canadian market, and you didn't say what you paid for it, so I have to
use the fall-back assumption that its worth what you paid for it.
The finish is, maybe, 85%, and there is a chunk missing out of the lower corner of the
lower grip panel, and perhaps also a very small piece out of the lower edge of the right
grip panel. On the other hand, it has the early version of the trigger rebound slide, that
has a key that sets into a keyway in the lockwork of the frame. That is considered a
desireable feature.
The thing about these older 32-20's is that older is not necesarily more valueable. Its
nearly impossible to find parts for them, and the steel is not heat-treated. So, unless
there is something special about the provenance of the gun, or the condition is very very
high, or its target-sighted, they just aren't worth a whole lot. And, there is a lot of
these early 32-20's around. All told, about 140,000 were made, so its not like they
are, in general, scarce.
I'd say its about a $250 - $300 gun, in most parts of the US. This doesn't mean that
you got it for a lot less, or that you paid a lot more. Its just my estimate of what I
think its worth.
