Smith and Wesson beauty time capsule.
Hello i have recently inherited a Smith and Wesson hand ejector blue finish 30-1 the serial number is 747244. this gun is BNIB. never fired gorgeous finish beautifully preserved with origional box the box is in great cond. only 2 tears on the side of the lid. i believe it to be a 1955 but not completely sure and it also has the origional registration paperwork included never filled out.
I am having a terrible time finding out what this beauty is worth. If you can help that would be awesome.

Welcome to the forum. I'm sure there are others here who are far more qualified than myself, and I'm sure they'll be along. Let me give the standard answer to your question, we need pictures? Any kind of accuate estimate of value would require pictures, the more detailed, the better. Also your description is kind of vague, but pictures would be better any way.

First, if the gun is stamped MOD 30-1 it was likely shipped in 1961 or later. Sounds like a great little gun. I am particularly fond of .32s. As to value, in the condition you describe, a lot will depend on the individual buyer since many folks aren't too interested in .32s. An interested buyer might pay $500 for the "package," or maybe even a bit more.

Pictures will help a lot when it comes to values. Plus, we like to see em!
