Question SW model 17- what's it worth

I have a chance to get a Model 17 .22 three screw that is supposedly 1958 vintage. What's it worth in very good condition? Have not seen it yet, but im sure it's nice. I am not really a collector. Just want to get some idea of its worth before I start to Havel the price.

A 1958 K-22 should be a four-screw (the cylinder stop at the front of the trigger guard). Given equal condition compared to a later gun, there may be a 10-20% premium. Depending on its exact condition, $550-700 would be a good range of value.

May have not heard correctly on the phone. It's probably a 1968 vintage.

I would guess $500-650, with the CA resident premium thrown in .
