Happy to oblige.
The pics are cell phone pics, but at close range and with natural light under perfect conditions it actually does ok

Cloudy overcast days are ideal for such outdoor photography, and the gloomier, the better. Then adjust levels, color balance, contrast and brightness in Photoshop.
