Post War Transitional N Frame Magna Stocks
I purchased these recently on eBay. The pics were bad and the best I could tell they were early 1950's N frame sharp shoulder diamond magnas. They arrived in the mail today and I immediately knew I was wrong when I saw the extra wide trough/border around the checkering (this is the easiest way for me to ID transitional magnas aside from seeing the Serial Number).
The serial number is S 63496; IF you have THE gun it would certainly be fun to reunite them. From looking at the SWCA Database, I'd guess it is either a 38/44 Heavy Duty or a 1926 3rd Model .44.

I'd love to have them for my Transitional Heavy Duty. If you're looking to sell/trade, let me know.
