Default Nicely Modified Brazilian

The could have been titled "Mr. Jones, your new revolver is ready." This is a modified Brazilian that unfortunately belongs to a friend of mine (he is a gunsmith) and not me. The primary modifications are shortening the barrel to 4" and constructing the custom front sight. It has the bead blasted blued finish, and a REALLY nice double action. What is nice is all the lettering and the Brazilian emblem are quite clear. It sort of looks like a really big M&P.

Sorry about the quality of the pictures. He would not let me have it for long.

Working on that. I did good getting to hold it. When the weather gets a little better we will take it out one day.

Nicely Modified Brazilian? I’d like to hold one of those.

Please don't hold it against me but I would love it even more with a traditional half-moon front sight.

It would just look more "gangsta" that way!

I have shortened a couple of 1917s, Brazilian or otherwise. They turn into great carry pieces and one was my EDC for a while. I still have at least one 4” barrel in the drawer waiting for the right revolver to come along. I also have Magnas and a grip adapter waiting.

That one looks nice. When you get it on the range you will enjoy it.
