Default Model 43 value

Recently come into my possession a model 34 22/32 kit gun airweight blue finish 3.5 inch barrel with serial number 506XX. Pistol is pristine with original box . Box shows some corner wear but in otherwise good condition.

What do I have here? Thanks

My take would be $600 and up for a pristine 43 with box. I usually appraise conservative but would buy at that price but you will likely get a much higher number from individuals that would not buy at their price. They are nice guns but susceptible to frame cracks under the barrel. I just checked gunbroker for you and the only 43 sold that I could find was for $515.00 - although most had asking prices much higher but no bids - so I stand by my number.

I would be happy to post a pic but it’s asking for an url. If I cannot upload from my phone then it probably beyond my limited level of patience for tech.

I'm thinking more like $850-$1000 for a "pristine" one with box/papers. I rarely see them where I shop. Paid $600 for this one (without box) eleven years ago. Add in inflation and the rapidly increased firearm prices of the last few years and you'll blow by $600 pretty fast.

On the "sold" side of GB one recently went for $1049 and another not as nice for $840.

Seems like he fat fingered the title. It's supposed to be about a Model 34.

A 34 is not an airweight and came with 4 (and 2) inch barrel. The 43 does have a 3.5 inch barrel. I think the OP was addressing a 43 and perhaps "fat fingered" the comment.

Don't know which model he actually has but my ANIB M prefix 43 would not be for sale at any price. Too much of a key player in my kit gun group. Buy it from my kids when I'm dead.

To answer your original question, you have, in my opinion, one of the coolest of the kit guns, especially in the condition you described. Second to the model 51. As far as the frame cracking issue, just stay away from stuff like CCI Mini-Mags. That is if you are going to shoot it. My shooter is a Pre model 18 and it will handle anything you put in it.
