Welcome to the forum! Looks like a great working gun. How is the action on yours? I've had 2, great and terrible, lol.

Wonder if theres a gunsmith logo under grips on the frame. Trigger looks like a serrated service type that's been smoothed and rounded. Finnish looks like Metalife or something similar.

Pre model 40 pics
All I see is a "Q" on bottom of frame under grips lower left, and inside crane recess. Hope i'm getting pics better.
Thanks, Mike

Action is what cinched the deal- best "stage-able" DAO trigger i have felt, and nice snug lockup on all 5 cylinders.
Looks like someone wanted a "Fancied up, Sunday go to BBQ" piece, and picked an action worthy of "Beautification".
